NER provides Human Research Oversight and Compliance services (HROCS) for institutions that need support building, operating, or strengthening these systems.

NER can serve as a Human Research Oversight and Compliance System of Record for institutions that require a more complete oversight solution.

HROC services may be provided on a project basis, research-program basis, or institution-wide basis, depending on the needs of the organization.
Unless NER is specifically engaged to provide HROC services, responsibility for institutional, sponsor, researcher, and site-level compliance remains with the applicable institution, sponsor, researcher, or research site.
When NER is retained to provide HROC services, the scope of oversight, monitoring, reporting, and compliance support is clearly defined in the service agreement.
